Donation to Annahda Special Needs Centre

The Annahda Centre for Educational and Vocational Rehabilitation has been providing services for children with special educational needs and disabilities in Ramallah since 1972. As well as basic learning skills for primary-aged children, pupils aged 14 and above can be offered practical instruction such as sewing, carpentry and printing, to encourage future independence.

Hounslow-Ramallah Twinning Association members visited the Centre in 2016, seeing first-hand the dedication of staff and the invaluable skills being taught to pupils.

HRTA has recently made a donation towards the work of the Centre, which has been received with appreciation and with confirmation that it will contribute towards ongoing programs and services, particularly those aimed at empowering people with disabilities and enhancing community-based support.
